The Cottage

Our four bedroom seaside holiday cottage comfortably sleeps eight people (plus an infant) and having been completely renovated in a tasteful seaside theme and furnished to a high standard, the cottage provides a wonderful bright and cheerful environment for you to enjoy your holiday.   It really is perfectly laid out for larger family groups.

Downstairs

The lounge has two large sofas and two armchairs comfortably seating everyone.  The large bay window floods the room with light and provides a small view of the sea - one of our sea glimpses!  There’s a Smart flat screen TV, WiFi, DVD player, board games and toys for children to enjoy.

Guests can enjoy meals together in our modern kitchen diner with the large table providing a communal environment for you to sit and revel in time together and plan your day.  For our younger guests we provide a highchair and a booster seat. 

You’ll find a well equipped kitchen to create a home from home feel, including an electric oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and a wine cooler!

We have a downstairs bathroom where you’ll find a large shower, toilet and sink, ideal for rinsing off sandy children, and there’s a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an additional sink for rinsing out sandy clothes! 

Of course, being beside a sunny beach, building sandcastles is a must and you’ll find buckets and spades under the stairs!

Upstairs

Every bedroom is furnished with restfulness and convenience in mind.  A good night’s sleep is an essential element of your holiday, so we’ve made sure our beds are good quality with comfortable mattresses and luxury cotton bedding.   Waking up at Sea Glimpses will always give you a happy and invigorating start to your day!  The white blinds are supplemented with curtains for our guests who prefer a dark sleeping environment and there’s plenty of furniture to provide storage space too.

Our master bedroom with its king size bed is where you’ll have our best view of the sea from its large bay window whilst our second bedroom has a spacious super king size bed which can be configured into a twin room and for those guests who would find this more convenient we will provide bedding for them to reconfigure the bed.

We have two more bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with adult sized bunk beds with a removable ladder that provides a safe environment to ensure only guests 6+ years can reach the top bund bed.  Additionally, there’s a travel cot for our infant guests.  Please note that guests are required to bring their own infant bedding. 

In the family bathroom you’ll find a large separate shower cubicle, bathtub, toilet and sink.

Parking

There is free on-street parking outside the cottage as well as on surrounding roads.  We have been granted permission to convert the front garden into a parking space and we hope to be able to offer this in 2020.
